For over 30 years Didion has held several senior leadership positions for multi-national companies including Executive Vice President of EnergySolutions, Senior Managing Director, and the Director of the Environmental Practice, Hill & Knowlton; and Senior Vice President, Fleishman-Hillard. Didion has represented a variety of small, medium and Fortune 100 companies involved in cutting edge technology in the areas of renewable and nuclear energy, manufacturing and agriculture.
Didion’s career has allowed him to directly influence policymaking whether it is with U.S. governors, senators or corporate boards as well as with elected and appointed officials in the UK, Angola, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Chile, Brazil, Argentina and Kenya.
On a regular basis Didion works with companies involving energy, agriculture and advanced manufacturing technologies to identify new business opportunities. As an adjunct professor since 2007 Didion has taught a graduate level course at George Washington University entitled, “Legislative Management and Congress” and in 2014 was awarded GW’s Outstanding Teaching Award for part-time faculty.
Earlier in his career Didion worked in the Executive Office of the President for six years where he was responsible for developing U.S. federal research budgets totaling over $3 billion dollars annually and reviewed regulations for U.S. based federal research and technology programs.
Following this Didion worked for the U.S. Treasury as a diplomat and senior official of the Joint Economic Commission (JECOR) that negotiated and managed agreements between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia on energy, agriculture and trade issues.
